FreshDeal intends to establish a packaging factory with investments exceeding 50 million pounds

FreshDeal for Sustainable Agricultural Packaging intends to establish a new factory on the 6th of October City. Specialized in packaging with investments exceeding 50 million pounds.

Mohamed Ali, CEO and Managing Director of FreshDeal, said in a special statement to "Al Mal" that the factory will be environmentally friendly and will direct its production to export.

It is worth noting that the company was established in 2020 and has achieved great success in the Egyptian market in sustainable packaging, especially for the agricultural sector and food industries, in light of the requirements set by some European countries to prevent packaging agricultural products in plastic containers.

Accordingly, FreshDeal produces bags and containers for agricultural products instead of importing them from abroad, and it also protects from the negative environmental effects of plastic.

"Ali" added that it plans to establish a new factory in October to increase production capacity to 100 million environmentally friendly packaging packages. He explained that the company has another one in Alexandria with a capacity of 40 million pieces annually.
He added that "FreshDeal" cooperates with entities exporting agricultural crops in Egypt. He pointed out that there are discussions with an Italian export company and work is underway to enhance cooperation with European farms through presence in foreign exhibitions. He explained that "Fresh Deal" aims during the coming period to expand into new markets in Europe and Latin America, most notably Italy, Spain, France, Chile, Peru, and South Africa. It is worth noting that "Fresh Deal" recently received two innovation awards from the UNIDO in the field of environmentally friendly packaging.
